wE LoVe sUMmEr tiMe!

We love our new view! This is right off the balcony, its so cool to go right out our living room and see mountains. We let the girls go out there a lot, they love it. I got them a tiny little pool to go on the balcony, but they don't seem to mind, they still have fun!

Victoria showing off her cute new suit! I liked the one with cute pink and white pokadots with a little skirt around it, but she thought it looked to babyish! She wanted to look like a teenager, boy do they grow up too fast now days! I just want them to stay little forever, its not fair they have to grow up! I really dont understand why they want to be teenagers, its such a rough time!

Ava being herself, she's definitely the goof ball of the family, she always making everyone laugh!

Happy Sisters! They get along so well, you hardly notice they are 3 years apart. Except for Victoria being two feet taller~ Victoria is such a good big sister. She adds so much to our family when she is here.
This is what Ava picked out to wear to the park! She's such a goon! Good thing she lets me change her. The plain white shirt looks alot better.

We absolutly love this park! and its just right down the road! We walk there about twice a week!
Victoria and Ava racing to the top! I think Ava won!

Here is a couple of videos to show their cute personalities! Victoria's Mom thinks she's shy around us, obviously shes not!

Ava loves to play pranks on everyone!

Kalab and I sure do get sick of hearing this, seriously its non stop around our house! Hannah Montana this and Hannah Montana that!

Victoria loves to tell us all about herself! I guess she doesnt feel the same way about port a pottys as Ava and I do! I didn't let her use it though, we live just up the road, so we walked home real fast!

Rain rain go away!

The girls were already stir crazy around noon, so we thought we would take them to Mc donalds to eat and play. Future basketball players, Daddy was so proud!

It is raining today and it looks like its staying all day. So I made some curtains for the girls room. I am usually against doing characters for curtains and stuff, but I let them pick Hannah Montana and of course they love it. We made them a princess bed too. its not exactly what how I planned it, but it turned out cute. The girls are pretending they live in a castle. They think its really cool, I can get my big white thing out and make stuff for them. Victoria keeps forgetting what its called so she calls it my big white thing, its kinda funny. I guess from a distance you cant even tell that they are Hannah Montana, the purple ones have sparkly stars on them. The bed doesnt look as cute in the picture thou.

Halley Mae

Today Halley is 4 months old! I cant believe what a sweet little girl she is. Right now she is working on rolling over. She can roll from her tummy to back, and is so close to rolling from her back to tummy, that dang arm just gets in the way. She also is starting to suck her thumb, I have caught her a couple of times, it is so cute! Halley makes being a Mommy so enjoyable. After we had Ava, things were really tough. She was a cranky baby, we didn't really get a whole lot of sleep or peace. Halley is so content. She never cries! Did I say she never cries! I cant explain the love that I have for this little baby. I am so happy. Everything feels right. When we first got pregnant, we weren't sure if we made the right decision. We had a couple of hard trials and things were getting a little scary. Since she was born, our family has been so happy. I am less stressed now, than when I was pregnant. I have no question in my mind that Halley is a present from God, to complete our family, for the moment. I feel very content, and I'm sure I haven't been able to say that in my adult life. Our marriage is good, and our family is happy. I am so thankful I have this time in my life to just enjoy things the way they are.

Girls night!

Today we were all pretty tired from the water park yesterday, so we slept in, and boy did it feel good! We pretty much did nothing today. I did a couple loads of laundry, then we had our good friends Brynli and Sawyer come over for a little bit. We made a yummy meat loaf (the girls favorite) So I was thinking the girls needed a little bit of excitement at my expense! I said they could paint my nails.

Ava says Mommy thats a great idea! Victoria doesnt know for sure. Before pic of nails!
Victoria trying to be a perfectionist, she did a pretty good job and enjoyed her self a lot.

After Pics!

The Water Park!

Ava, already to go
Kalab trying to tan, ha ha he got nice and tomatoe red!

Ava splashing and having fun, Victoria trying to get used to the water.

Little fishies!

It was finally hot enough to go the the water park. So far this summer we havent had a day in the late 90's or 100's so it wasnt really hot enought to go, and the girls just kept begging and begging us. Yeah! We went and had so much fun! It was 95 degress, which was perfect, the cold water felt so good! They have whats called a lazy river, where you can float on intertubes in a circle, which the girls loved. I sure hope we can go a couple more times this year, we stayed for 5 hours and it sure didnt feel long enough.

what we've been up too!

Um, let me think! We have just been doing summer stuff. Going to the park, going to the Summer time movies, swimming. Oh yeah, we also moved! Ugh! it was a lot of work and it wasn't too fun, but boy was it worth it! We just moved into a new building in our same apartment complex, its a different layout and bigger, but even more important, it has brand new carpet and tile. We also get a balcony, which the girls absolutely love! So we spent all week moving and cleaning!
Kalab red hot and worn out after a hard days work! Halley fell asleep on a stack of pillows as I was putting our bed together! Too cute!
Just moving pics, big mess and a lot of work to do still!

Ive been sewing!

When I was at Mom's house, she gave me her old sewing machine, and I have already been putting it to good use. I needed to start with something simple, and Victoria needed some more jamas at our house, so what a good idea to sew them jama shorts. They were so excited, and I had fun doing it. I will be stocking up on cheap Walmart material for practice, I am far from perfect. Thanks Mom, I love it!We really need a bigger place, just one more thing to add clutter!

Happy Birthday Mom!

Ava helping Dad clean the windows while we were gasing up!
Yep thats right 90 degrees at 8 am our time 7 am thier time. Whoa, we were not ready for the heat! It got up to 110 while we were there! They had so many M&M!

Kalab messing with the camera! He got a good face shot of Halley thou, shes such a beautiful baby!

Kalab had some days off work before the 4th, so we decided to surprise my Mom for her Birthday. It didnt end up being a surprise thou, because she was trying to make other plans, so I had to tell her we were coming. It was fun to spend her Birthday with her. We got her a cake and pretty flowers, and went out to eat. It was a fun day! I hope she had fun! We got there Wednesday morning and stayed until Saturday night. We were just there a couple weeks ago for my brothers graduation, but we never do the whole Vegas thing cause were to busy with family stuff. Kalab and I wanted to go see the chapel where Jon Bon Jovi was married, that Was kinda fun. Then we went to the M & M world, then to a couple casinos to look around. We got some pizza at New York New York, and took Ava on some rides at Circus Circus. Kalab and I also had a chance to get away for a bit, my Mom babysat the girls, we wanted to do a little bit of gambling, I had never really been before, we lost 50 bucks but it was great to get away together. We had such a good week. On Saturday we went to Flag ceramony followed by a community breakfast, and some games and a candy scramble for Ava,and a whimpy fireworks show, but it was fun being with family. When we were younger it really didnt bother us to be so far away, but now were older, we apprieciate family so much more, I really wished we lived closer. My Mom and I have had our ups and downs but I want her to know that I really love her and everything she does for me and my kids. It really means alot. Love ya Mom!

Craft night!

The girls were getting pretty bored, so I needed someting to keep them busy! They had such a great time painting their little doggy's They named them Luren and london!

Ava's is the purple one and Victoria's is Brown! We also made some anklets out of braided sting and beads, we also made 4th of July bows for the girls hair.
Halley enjoyed being outside with us! All in all it was a good night!
