pictures of the kiddo's

Its been so nice out, we ventured to the park. Ava needed the fresh air. Its been a long hard winter for all us, I am so excited for the summer.

Whats been going on for the past couple weeks, I finally finished the birth announcemts, I hoped you recieved yours, I had a fun making them, I made 32 of them and not one was alike, I used different paper and stickers for each. We got a new bed! King size! and boy does Kalab feel like a king, we both do, Our old bed was small and so old, we wernt sleeping well either, so it was time. This is Kalabs last week of school, he is working hard to finish up his finals. I am so proud of Kalab and everything he does for our family. He works so hard for us, and not a day goes by that I dont count my blessings, he is awesome! He's had some time off of work, which has been so nice to have him around he helps out so much, and its nice to have some adult conversations. I love you, Baby!
We are looking forward to the summer, so we can play outside, go swimming, maybe we can fit a camping trip in this summer too. First thing this summer we are going to Logandale, NV for my Brothers high school graduation. Which its already in the 90's there so I know its going to be hot. other than that the world is in our hands, and we are going on an adventure this summer!

Easter Weekend

Victoria waiting her turn to make a mad dash for all that candy!

Ava was pleased with all her eggs!

First Family pic, with little Halley Mae

All our Beautiful girls! We sure do love them! What great Sisters they are~
We had a fast and busy weekend. Friday night we picked up Victoria in Twin Falls then did a little bit of shopping, and headed home. Victoria and Ava were pretty wound up, they were running around and playing, it was pretty hard to calm them down, and get them ready for bed, we warned them that if they didnt go to bed right now that we wouldnt take them to the Easter egg hunt in the morning cause they would be to tired. As Ava was saying family prayer she said please bless that Mom and Dad will let us go to Easter Egg hunt so we can get candy! Shes so funny during her prayers that Kalab and I have such a hard time holding our laughs back. So we went to bed pretty late Friday and got up pretty early Saturday for the Egg hunt then we headed to Idaho Falls to visit with Kalabs Dad and Terri. They had an another Easter Egg hunt for the girls and we had a fabulous Ham dinner that Terri made.

Getting Adjusted

I love being a new Mommy! Halley Mae makes it so easy too. For the first week my Parents were here to help. It was so nice to see them and visit with them. They took Ava out and spoiled her rotten, which was really fun for her. For most of the first week I just stayed on the couch and relaxed, the ward brought us a couple of meals and a few friends stopped by to see the baby. On friday we had to bring her back to nursery to check her weight and color. She was good, so my parents took us out to mexican food. Saturday I was feeling pretty good so we did a little bit of shopping and when we came home my Mom made us some excellent lasagna. On Sunday morning they had to leave to go back home. Which was a sad day for Ava and I. She waved to Grandma and Grandpa until she couldnt see them any more, then ran down the sidewalk waving more. When she was ready to come back inside she was pretty upset and crocadile tears were just streaming down, and by that point I couldnt hold mine back either. Its hard living so far away from Family, and its even harder to say goodbye, cause you never know how long its going to be before you get to see them again. For the rest of day we just rested and wathced tv.

On Monday it was back to the grind. Kalab had school and work. It was up to me, to take care of the girls and I was feeling pretty insecure. Even though Halley is a really easy baby, she never cries, seriously. I opened the fridge to find my milk was bad and there were no eggs, I opened the cubbord to find green moldy bread. I had not a clue what to make for dinner either, so I ventured to the grocery store. It was really not as hard as I thought. Halley fits into our lives so easily. Its amazing the feeling that she brings to our family. Shes only been here for 13 days and all ready I cannot imagine my life without her. I know that she came at the most perfect time. We are so thankful that Hevenly Father is trusting us with his perfect little spirit, and that he let her come to our family. We are all doing great.
