The Fourth

The 4th is really one of my favorite holidays! I am not really fond of winter or being cold, summer is when I shine! I love to watch Fireworks and back yard BBQ'S, slip and slides, camping, tanning under the hot sun, swimming in lakes, camping, hiking, bike riding, anything outside! I am having so much fun this summer with my girls, I just dont want it to end!

On the 3rd of July we felt really adventerous! So we took a little trip to Lava Hot springs, Idaho and floated down the river! The girls and I had so much fun! Halley wasnt so sure about it and Kalab thought the water was to cold, so they just watched us! Lava is a pretty cool little town, its pretty old and really crowded with tourist, but we had so much fun I know we will be back pretty soon! When we first got in there was an old hippie guy right behind us, he could tell it was our first time and gave us some very much apprieciated advice, "Keep your butts up when you over the rapids" We had no idea that the rocks were that close to the water. So every time Ava saw rapids coming up, she would yell as loud as she could "BUTTS UP" then it turned into "BUTTS UP 7-UP" and butts up dr. pepper, really anything she could think of. We floated the river for about 4 fantastic hours! I really cant remember when I had that much fun with my family! Ava is such a go getter, she would get so excited, she just couldn't contain her self! As we would go over a rapid, she would yell bring it on, I am ready, then she would ask me if we could make it go faster! I love her enery and spirit! Sometimes she is a little hard to handle, but she really shines when it comes to being athletic! She is really amazing and I am so glad we all had such a fun weekend!

Girls Night

a Night full of fun and games. Victoria and Ava had friend come over we had pizza and pop and candy. We did pedi's and mani's, and the girls played until the dropped at midnight!

Bear World

A few weeks ago we went to Bear World right outside of Rexburg, Id. The girls had alot of fun looking at the bears and different animals. Kalab really enjoyed it as well. Its pretty much his favorite thing to look for wild life, when ever we are driving in the Mountains he is always telling me to look for elk or deer. My favorite was the white elk. Halley loves animals and really liked the petting zoo. It was a pretty fun day and the girls keep talking about it so we know they had fun!

Summer stuff!

So I got a pretty nice camera for Mothers day and obviously I haven't been putting it to good use. So far I have taken the girls to the lake 3 times and the water park once, we have had play dates and lunch at the park. We have been so busy and having a blast with Victoria being here every other week, and I have no pictures to show for it. I am making a mental note now to bring my camera with me more. Last time we went to the lake Ava had so much fun running and jumping off the floating dock. She is only 4 and such an adrenaline junkie. Halley on the other hand is so timid and not a big fan of the water yet! Just a short one tonight, wanted to update everyone and let ya know we are having a great summer. Tomorrow or the next day I will write about our 4th, we had an awesome busy weekend!
